Fresh and innovative, CBC Radio 3 gained critical acclaim around the world, and became the key building block for CBC's entry into satellite radio

Canadian Broadcasting Corporation

At Large Media principals created an entire new division for Canada’s national broadcaster.  Our multi-channel strategies to engage youth audiences led to the creation of the CBC's first converged content teams working on radio programs and online content that incudes audio, video, and Flash animation.

In its first iteration, this strategy resulted in the creation of three key web sites, including 120seconds.com and NewMusicCanada which has grown to be home to the largest on-line collection of Canadian music in the world, as well as a source for major record labels looking for new talent.  The sites featured a content management system that won internal CBC engineering awards, and the sites themselves gained praise from around the world.

CBC Radio 3 on-air and on-line won over thirty International awards, including multiple Grand Awards at the New York Festival, The Art Directors Guild, the Prix Italia, European Multi Media Award, Canadian New Media Awards, Communication Arts and the Oscars of the Internet, The Webby Award.
